The achievement and success of IFS and its reputation as Ireland’s leading innovative forestry asset management company has been made possible by the strength of its experienced and talented team which has been built over the years.


Directors

Mr Richard Hoare, Chairman, joined the Board of IFS in 2002 and is Chairman to the company.  Mr Hoare was formerly Managing Director of Bank of Ireland Finance Ltd and Operations Director of First Active plc. He is a senior executive with over twenty years experience in the banking and life assurance industries. Mr Hoare is also Managing Director of RMH & Associates, a consultancy firm specialising in corporate strategy and investment partnerships.




Mr Trevor McHugh, Managing Director,  joined IFS in 1998 and is Managing Director of the company. He has successfully developed the operational areas of the business, including the design, development and implementation of various management systems. Mr McHugh has successfully negotiated a number of strategic relationships with utility companies and service providers so as to enhance the services provided by IFS to its clients and expanding the strategic land use held by the Irish Forestry Funds. Mr McHugh is a Director of the Irish Forestry Funds and is also a director of the International Forestry Fund.




Mr Paul Brosnan, Marketing Director, co-founded the Irish Forestry Funds in 1997 and is Marketing Director of IFS Asset Managers Ltd. He developed the marketing strategy for the Irish Forestry Funds but began his career in corporate finance in Australia and commercial finance in Britain prior to establishing successful businesses in Central Europe and in Belfast. Mr. Brosnan is Managing Director and Chairmanof the Irish Forestry Funds and is a director of the International Forestry Fund.
